Small Reservoir Built in Ceger

Small reservoir with an area of 970 square meters on Jl. SMPN 160 RT 02/05 Ceger, Cipayung, East Jakarta which was built since December 2020, has now been completed.

Ceger Urban Village Head, Suratno mentioned, PPSU personnel are currently finishing retaining walls construction and making inlet-outlet channels, while finishing the bottom part of reservoir thus it can be optimal in overcoming inundation in residential areas.

"Now local residents have felt the results. Because their houses are no longer flooded during heavy rains like before," he conveyed, Wednesday (2/17).

Inundation in Cipinang Melayu has Receded

This reservoir has depth about 1.5-2 meters which is dredged manually by PPSU personnel and Water Resources (SDA) Task Force. It was built on land owned by Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency which located in west side of Ceger Sport Center (GOR)," he informed.

"Alhamdulilah, the small reservoir construction has been completed," he closed.
